Want to Volunteer?
We’d have a hard time running this event without our volunteers. And we want to make it clear how the system works and what you’ll be getting for all your hard work.
- All passes must be paid upfront.
- Let us know how many hours you’d like to work, and for each hour worked you will be reimbursed approximately $15 after the event.
- If you do not show up for a shift, you will not be reimbursed for that hour.
For example, to pay off the following passes:
Dances Only Pass: plan on working 6 hours (@$15/hr = $90).
Full event pass: plan on working 11-13 hours, depending on whether you bought the Early Bird or Regular Pre-Registration Pass (@$15/hr = $165 or $195). (Please note: we are only able to reimburse you up to the ticket price you paid: Early Bird = $160; Regular = $190).
Also note: volunteer payments are for dances and classes only; t-shirts and meals must be paid for separately.
How will you be paid?
Paypal: The money will be taken from your account, but we will credit your account after the event.
Check: We will not cash the check until after the event and if the full amount is worked off, the check will be torn up after the event. If only a portion is worked off, then the check will be deposited and the amount worked will be sent to you by Paypal.
