Private Lessons / Backstage rooms

The best way to up your game is with one-on-one time with our fabulous instructors. As our instructors at large, Shawn Hershey and Amanda Gruhl are exclusively available for private lessons during bluesSHOUT!

Our other instructors are also available for private lessons when they are not teaching classes (Damon Stone, Devona Cartier, Don West, Heidi Fite, Jerry Warwick, Joe Demers, Joshua Boroff, Kathy Warwick, Nelle Hatley, Tina Davis).

To schedule private lessons with Shawn and Amanda or any of our other instructors, please see the front desk. We will have a schedule of availability for our backstage rooms and instructors. There is no floor fee for private lessons with bluesSHOUT! instructors.

Rooms for private lessons

Should you wish to schedule a private lesson with a non-bluesSHOUT! instructor during the weekend, we will be offering rooms in the backstage area for the floor fee of $10/hour. Vacant backstage rooms will be made available at the beginning of each class hour. See the front desk to book your room and pay your floor fee.

Please note: Besides bluesSHOUT! staff, only students and instructors who have booked private lesson space are allowed in the backstage area.
